JUNE 15, 2012 6:00 PM BUFFALO COOKOUT AT SHELTER and Dean Wavranek , Mountain Man Program - Storytelling of early fur trapping days, while demonstrating flintlock rifle, tomahawks and knives. The whole family will enjoy this fun and humorous program. Programs are free and held at the cookout shelter unless otherwise noted. Cookout starts at 6:00 p.m.; Mountain Man Program will follow immediately after serving, approximately ½ - ¾ hour. To sign up for buffalo cookout, guests must register and purchase ticket at the park office before the cookout. There is a cut-off limit and cut-off time (Noon Sat.), so sign up early. Minimum 25 persons required to hold cookouts. Adults (13 & older) $12; Children $8
JUNE 16, 2013 (Sun.) 9:00-12:00 4TH ANNUAL FATHER’S DAY FISHING TOURNAMENT - Come and enjoy a morning of fishing with family and friends. Prizes will be awarded for biggest fish and most caught. Register your team at the park office. Loaner fishing poles will be available along with tackle.
